2. Eligibility for Refund
Refunds may be requested under the following circumstances:
- Service has not yet been initiated (document review has not started).
- Duplicate payment or overpayment for the same tax year service.
- Technical errors on our platform that prevent service delivery.
3. Non-Refundable Circumstances
Refunds will generally not be provided if:
- The tax professional has already completed the initial draft or review of your return.
- The return has been electronically filed and accepted by the IRS/State authorities.
- Changes in your tax situation or missing documents led to a different outcome than expected.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please email our support team at support@legittaxfile.com with your Filing ID and the reason for the request. All requests are reviewed within 5-7 business days.
